Is it just me or is it easier to recognize the young women upside down than it is the old woman upside down?

Perhaps because it’s more difficult to draw “beauty” than the lack of it, therefore allowing more compromises and less details on the “old” side.

Does what I wrote even make sense? It’s difficult to put it into words.

For me if I cover up the young woman’s mouth it’s a lot easier to see the old woman while upside down. I think the young woman’s mouth is maybe slightly too defined and realistic in comparison to the old woman’s mouth, and the face recognition part of the brain just latches on to it.
