F1 ACADEMY has announced three important developments ahead of the 2024 season, with the series’ second campaign set to get under way in support of Formula 1 at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in March.
If this can get super licence points (and for the record, I think it’s great that it does), why not IndyCar or similarly situated series? I’d love to see drivers like Colton Herta on the grid.
What do you mean over-preferation? Because the list you posted shows that F4 gets you more points (not much more but still). They’re driving the same cars as some F4 series so shouldn’t they get the same points?
And it also seems like it’s a downgrade from w series.

I think you’re under a misconception. A lot of series give super license points, full overview here:

This is a stark over-preferation of F1 Academy over other F4 series though.
