Arrest enough senators and house memebers to pass decent legislation and ban Trump from being eligible. Then arrest Teump.and have him put to death for treason. Arrest the rest of the Jan 6th insurrectionists and throw them in Gitmo too.

Then put the structures in place to cover the things that let the Republicans set up a dicatorship so we can have a democracy again.

Every member of congress that was part of the attempt to overthrow rhe election is an insurrectionist and should be detained or in jail by now.

Dissolving congress isn’t an executive branch power. Congress can just ignore something like that.

The president can’t just will that kind of a thing into existence.

The ruling explicitly states that those things on the record are not admissible if they were not through some public form of communication. So his phone call to the Georgia governor would be inadmissible even though it is currently public knowledge since it was originally a private call he claims was official business.

His public tweets would be admissible.

She is trying to guilt trip you for missing her text by using emotionally ever the top hyperbole which is not gaslighting. Gaslighting requires intentionally lying about something that did not happen to make you question your own experience.

The only smartphones I have used are androids and know for sure that after the call goes to voicemail you can click on the call for more options and and block the number. Not sure if it gives the option during the call unless it suspects it is spam. I just double checked on a number that wasn’t in my contacts.

May not be available on every model, but every one I have owned had the block option.

Prior presidents have done all kinds of shady shit without worrying about prosecution. Even the angry orange didn’t get charged until he tried to overthrow an election.

There was zero reason to even decide this case except to give immunity to someone who blatantly abuses their authority.

The SCOTUS majority just decided that nothing the president does is illegal, at least in a way that can ever be prosecuted.

Yeah, but that law requires intent and all that evidence you mentioned can be thrown out.

Citizens United was the first step to make it blatantly legal by being able to hide donations in a way that makes make it easy to give money directly to candidates from any source, foreign and domestic.

Then that “it was a gratuity, not a bribe” ruling last week means anyone can just buy off politicians in the open.

So as of this morning it is legal for a foreign country to bribe the president to have someone assassinated.

But he won’t, and neither will any Dem presidents, which is what the right wing SCOTUS is counting on.

Biden won’t abuse this power because he isn’t a complete trash person and SCOTUS knows it. They know that the only party that will abuse this power is the Republican party.

So until this trash opinion is undone, every single election is an imminent threat to democracy.

They gave the president powers that only an immoral person would abuse.
