You are correct. Ethanol does have a higher octane rating though so a blend of gas and ethanol will have a higher octane rating and hence knock resistance.

I googled a bit and the web said that ethanol does indeed burn cleaner which makes sense since there should be less contaminants and more oxygen is available. Ethanol also absorbs more heat then vapourized so there should be less heat in the combustion chamber resulting in less NOx emmissions. Do you have any sources for your claims? I would like to read about it because clearly i don‘t know everything about burning ethanol.
I buy it in a tea shop close by as loose leaf. It‘s a day and night difference between loose leafs and prepackaged and processed tea. It‘s also a lot of fun to try so many different teas and find the one you enjoy the most, there is so much variety.
If anything, it would make sense to have gasoline with ethanol content in summer because ethanol is more knock-restistant, which you are more prone to if tempereatures are warmer.
I help my mom financially a bit. In return she helps me indirectly financially because i can live at home and eat, use water, electricity and so on. I kind of pay a small rent.
It sounds so utterly ridiculous to have a publicly traded prison
I agree, but this guy is not stating a proper question in an ask-community, but also not giving any information that will help us trying to answer his question, like what app he is using.
I would however argue that the barrier of entry is smaller with vapes in a way that it is less of a turn off. Many people don‘t smoke because they think it smells disgusting or they start coughing the first time they smoke. Vapes however smell like fucking strawberry or melon and aren‘t as hard on your throat the first time.
This comment doesn‘t hold any value anyway. Just bashing the people living there and then saying the whole country is shit.
I don‘t know where you‘re eating lol. A döner in zurich is about 14-15 francs at the moment never seen one for 18 francs and they increased prices the last two years as well.
If you‘re having a meal and drinks for 50 francs per person you have likely been to a fancy restaurant. Don‘t get me wrong, it absolutely is possible to easily go over 50 francs, however its also is very easy to stay below that and still have a good experience.
Disclaimer: i haven‘t read the article
Maybe the dwindling ticket sales come from expensive tickets and even more expensive prices for food and drinks at the GP
I‘m not a pilot but i‘m assuming for slow manouvers this wouldn‘t be too much of a problem? I‘m thinking if you go over a certain speed there are also huge aerodynamic consequences.
Jungle cakes vol. 19 :)
Right-wing populism is on the rise through the whole continent, it‘s scary. I can feel it here in switzerland and can see it in neighbouring countries like france and germany.
But the post says „they stopped buying and price goes down“ reduced demand makes price go down. I‘m not defending corpos or claiming that they‘re not greedy. I‘m just discussing what is stated in this post because it‘s a bad example of greed.
I was going to say the same. Of course there is always a base demand, but there is a reason why 300 years ago fat people were considered wealthy simply because they could buy whatever they wanted for food.
But this discussion is all besides the point. The post says „as soon as we stop buying shit prices go down“, and that is a simple principle of supply demand. I also never stated that this was the sole reason for massively inflated prices, because it‘s not. Again, i was just referring to a thing that was said in the post itself.
The community on here isn‘t really better than on reddit, it‘s all an echochamber as well, which i‘m fine with.
I mean isn‘t what‘s described here also just basic supply/demand?
While i find the new engine regulations stupid because they will be less thermally efficient, i like the design shown here because they look like compact gokarts :D
Thats pretty frickin cool!
