Thanks. I’ll delete this one and repost with another link.
As stated by @furrowsofar@beehaw.org Firefox or a derivative. I use Firefox Developer Edition and have learned how to turn off all of the spying crap. Otherwise, I’ll use LibreWolf every once in a while.
Senator Chris Van Hollen just met with El Salvador’s Vice President Félix Ulloa. The VP told Van Hollen that the reason they are holding Kilmar Abrego Garcia at CECOT is because the Trump administration is paying them to do so.
I know that this may sound trite, but it isn’t and I mean it with the best intentions. This tough spot you are in right now is only temporary. It will soon pass. Hold your head high. You are not alone.

Esoterica is a decent channel. Dr. Justin Sledge interacts with us on Reddit sometimes. An interesting fellow.
Yeah. Clickbait title.
We must have better moderation tools if we ever want this instance to grow.
I understand all of that. What I’d like the OP to address is how Bluesky could turn into something resembling Twitter if it’s, technically, very different.
Did you read the article? Do you understand, technically, how Bluesky differs from Twitter (X)?
Preference?
Yes. This is the best explanation of why people choose the platforms they use.
I don’t believe it has anything to do with people’s fear. More money means more marketing power. It’s that simple.
Yeah I agree.
I’ve seen hundreds of those photos on Bluesky today. Very encouraging. BTW, my neighbor (across the street) took his Trump flag down this week.
Bluesky is great. You can follow me there if you’d like to.
Turns out that microplastics in human bodies may not be as bad as feared. The most recent article I read concerning this is that early findings are that normal/average amounts of cardiovascular exercise (ex. walking) per week will rid the body of microplastics through sweating.
Don’t get me wrong here. That may be good news, for now, for us humans. However, there is still a lot of research that needs to be done. Not only for its effects on humans, but all the other environmental issues as well.
