I assume we saw the same one but it wasn’t an ‘official’ controller, it was a 3rd party one specifically designed with steam in mind. Made by a company called Hori. Valve hasn’t announced another steam controller yet.

I mean you could just not use the difficulty slider. I’ve never turned down the difficulty in any game even if I could have, but I don’t begrudge people that do if they’re struggling.
“If I barely move my body I can last for a super long time. The trick to longer sex is less exertion, all these people getting sweaty and tired are doing it wrong”
Just buy an air mouse for $20 and you don’t have to get up to change episodes. Doesn’t help with having to unplug it from the hdmi all the time but that’s less of a hassle if you can just do it once when you start watching and then control everything from the couch.
Plenty of people are addicted to caffeine too. Maybe we should stop with all the drug addict discourse altogether, because it’s dumb and counter productive and doesn’t get people the help they really need. Lots of people can use drugs responsibly and lots of people can spiral into harmful lifestyle situations without ever touching pills or powders.
Seriously try one of the air remotes. It’s like a gyroscopic remote and it works way better than I ever thought it would for controlling a mouse cursor. They’re very cheap too, the one I have cost 30bucks, it can sense if you have it on the keyboard side or the media side facing up and disables the other sides buttons, deactivatable backlight on the buttons, and rechargeable battery, although it lasts for weeks without charging.
Or get a little air mouse remote for $20 on Amazon. This is what i use for controlling my pc when its hooked up to the TV and it’s so unbelievably good, even has a full keyboard on the back if I want to search something, full range of media controls on the front, and just point it and click to control the mouse cursor. Gamechanger.
I hate that games started designing around microtransactions. Like who thought “hey let’s take the worst parts of MMOs and put them into single player”. I loved AC origins and was so looking forward to odyssey and then I just bounced off it within a few hours because so much of it just felt like doing chores.
You leftists are just too far left. But Hitler was a bit too far right, so i guess I’m in the middle.
If you’re legitimately interested you should check out /gonewildaudio (on reddit but there’s a lemmy community with a bot that reposts all the posts). Its all user submitted short (10-30 minute) scripts and then other users will record themselves reading the scripts, and I was honestly blown away by the quality and content. Not something I do all the time but there’s so many niche scenario scripts and the voice over recordings are really well done in the 3 or 4 that I’ve listened to.
Make mac and cheese with your leftover hot dog water if the desert you’re in only has macaroni and hot dogs instead of eggs and potatoes.
Or they just made an announcement in 2021 about their existing content management tools and how much they’ve spent on them over the years. That’s how I read it anyway.
I’ve installed many non steam games on my deck, but the vast majority were ones I already had on my PC. I’ve found the easiest way by far is just to copy over the installed game folder to the steamdeck via ftp and add to steam. Only one game I’ve had to do any fiddling with so far, and that was just installing vcc studio dependencies with wine tricks. Other than that everything has worked with zero fiddling.
The ai has done a pretty good job damaging its own reputation. This one is fake, but there’s lots of real examples of it saying absurd things. Like to drink urine when you have a kidney stone, or put glue in your pizza cheese to stop it from sliding off the pizza.
Yes it is if you read the article, that’s exactly how he had it set up, and then you just have to manually move the battery where power is needed. You just can’t use your wall outlets when there’s an outage.

I just started playing ghost of tsushima on my steam deck and it’s fucking gorgeous even on low settings, so I assume that would be pretty beautiful maxed out too.
No. My girlfriend and I are 140 hours in and still not finished, and I’m amazed at how smooth the coop works with the story. You can each be different places doing different things, or you can travel together, you can each have your own relationships with npcs. A lot of conversations with npcs will repeat depending on who’s talking, but important story ones won’t. As long as you mostly stick together and make choices together, you’ll have every option a single player game does.
Also made me think of progesterone.
He just has 3 centipedes as patients, but that’s enough, he’s not taking on any new ones right now.
