There was a period in the early 2000’s where China showed genuine signs it might open up and become somewhat democratic, giving its citizens greater rights and representation. Obviously they decided to revert to their authoritarian ways and brutally crack down on dissent to keep control over the people, but there was a time HK might’ve had a nice future under China.
No fucking way, Hong Kong was lost in 2014 after the yellow umbrella movement was brutally crushed. It was death by a thousand cuts ever since. Trump or no Trump, nothing was going to change that.

In decemeber they marched groups of Palestinians around in their underwear to parade them off
They share videos of them openly destroying Palestinian peoples property
They beat and torture prisoners and civilains
They are very open about showing this to the world.
Not surprised, society is failing young men hard.
Men are worse off today than previous generations, yet at every step they’re villainized. Meanwhile they see everyone else being empowered and advocated, while they get left behind and yelled at.
And tonedeaf people will see this post and think it’s men complaining that women are getting empowered, not men complaining that they’re being failed by society.
Hardly inspiring.
