That bit was regarding why they wouldn’t do the same thing regarding one’s father
Personally I think it’d be a power move to say I fucked you’re dad

The whatever reason bring that they’d have played themselves because homophobia.
I imagine the potency of yo mama jokes that focus on banging her, as opposed to accentuating how ugly she is, comes from the discomfort of sexualizing someone that you want to not have sexualized given your intimacy with her. Reframing your mom as a sexual being rewrites the experience of affection with her, for example.
The ugliness piece devalues someone precious to you.
I also thinks it’s just a rules of the game that people decide on and then forget. Participating in a game about who will gets upset, everyone implicitly agrees that this is something they can fall prey to having a reaction about. Sort of social game theory
This is our innate state, IMO. We are social, creative people. The impulse to help and participate comes first and then is warped by our societal structure where everything gets monetized. I follow the Skyrim mod scene just for that hit of seeing this generosity at play
I had to look up what gyro aiming is. FYI for others: https://www.33rdsquare.com/what-does-gyro-aiming-mean-an-in-depth-look-at-the-next-evolution-in-gaming-controls/
Dead Space (remastered, I guess?). Only played a demo version that had 5 minutes of play, way back in the aughts, and have been meaning to try it since.
Oh, nothing about our culture would permit someone to do that. I don’t expect him to. It’s just a nice fantasy
How can they vote for him if he’s not on the ballot?
Not only switch candidates, but have Biden have the humility to back that person. Do it in the name of Democracy, you know: this election is too important and I realize we need a stronger candidate than I can be. That would sell well, and that’s what’s needed for better or worse: a good narrative
As many others are commenting that’s, unfortunately, not the concern here. It’s theater, and he bombed and his lapses will be broadcast ad nauseum to drive that impression to the impressionable
Or he could step down with dignity and back his replacement candidate. Seems like that would help sway voters in the Democrats favor
As far as effort? You’re right
What do you find is the advantage of these over a mouse?
How do they rate on trainability and intelligence vs cats and dogs?
They keep referencing The Outer Worlds for comparison. Wasn’t that game kinda panned?
Adding to Fallout New Vegas, which others have mentioned, Skyrim. I got into modding but then sold my Xbox and haven’t yet gotten into the fuller glory of modding it on PC. And, anyhow, I don’t really think of it as a game to finish, just a game to play.
Also haven’t completed BG3 despite liking it. I suffer in games what I suffer in life: the desire to experience it all and not close any options. Which is to say, I struggle with the reality of consequences and so avoid choices and commitments
It’s really tough to push past and ignore that first part to get to answering your question. Like, that elephant taking up the whole room and trumpeting
It’s integrated into the steering wheel, right?
I don’t want my parents to experience my death / want to make sure they are helped in their last years. I’ve told them that there’s an expiration onn that though. Like, you wanna live to 100? You’ll be doing it without me.
But that doesn’t make for good drama
More genuinely, I appreciate your response. We need more of that type of reasonableness. Drama makes for good TV (I guess) but not for a good life or friendships
