I’ve been very average in my own specialty of electrical engineering, but because I’ve taken the time to deep dive into mechanical engineering and controls/automation, I’ve far surpassed my peers career wise.
Absolutely social media is the problem.

The founding fathers were correct. A pure democracy is also known as mob rule. Anytime you can get 51% to agree with you, you can do whatever you like.

Aside from the sermon on the mount, I’m particularly fond of the parable of the sheep and the goats.
Its the single longest passage in the bible about who gets into heaven and who doesn’t. Surprisingly has nothing about accepting Jesus as your lord and savior.

This is absolutely it. The C-suite and senior management are made up of sharp people. They absolutely know this will trigger an exodus and a large bag of fire-able workers.
