According to this article via the same source as OP, Japan grants just 0.5% of asylum requests.

Ministry of Justice statistics show that between 2016 and 2019, more than 10,000 people applied for asylum in Japan every year, but only 20 to 44 individuals were granted refugee status. The recognition rate falls below 0.5%, and it is difficult to acquire refugee status in Japan.

For any country, that is shameful. For a country with an aging population, it is just plain stupid.

A gag order will not stop him from spewing his hate and confusion. He would have to be put in jail, which his base would eat up. And even then, that would not stop him or his legal team from arguing in bad faith at every turn.

It’s important to request the gag order, but don’t expect anything to come of it.

Most people do not have an adblocker. Most people watch YouTube to varying degrees of frequency and duration. Most people will continue to watch the ads. I’d be surprised if YT noticed any amount of users leaving the site because of this. The privacy minded folk are few and far between.
