How long did it take for you to get half-decent with it? I have little to no balance, I can’t even rollerblade or ice skate, you think it’s worth trying to learn?

for a prospective dev (for contributing & who is learning…) what should one look into if they wanted to add support for another markup language? like typst! or uhh pandoc so whatever markup language one writes in it can be put in the appropriate format!

and yes if i saw someone comment that even with my experience i too would think it was strange.

they are ideologically so good, completely solid (excl. neurodivergent stuff, and accessibility stuff for other comrades).

i tried to explain some privacy stuff, like, info we were taking from prospective members for the youth org, and how handing that off to the affiliated party org likely breaches the institutions privacy laws (which i quoted during the regular meeting!!) and was told something about how its probably OK or it wasnt an issue before.

what are the homeless orgs like though? over here, it’s a bit of a mixed bag, esp for people with mental health issues. they do good work ofc, there’s only so much they can do with so little funding & so much consternation
