I used to like MSN and even Skype. Skype felt like it degraded under MS. They seem to buy stuff and the product stagnates or regresses. Either they crush innovation or cut funding and try and milk profits. I suspect a lot is integration of Active Directory etc so they can bundle up, sell to orgs and lock them into their shitty ecosystem.
Nonsense. Slack was far superior, though not touched it since it was bought out.
Do you really think it had that much attention?
1 PO, 1 BA and a part time dev split across teams. They’re also the QA.
I’m not sure I understand. I don’t think farming is boring.
The measley non Google portion of revenue is 81m dollar. If you pay a top dev 200k, you could pay 100 top devs 20m and still have 60m to play with.
This is even before considering a Bing/Yahoo/Ecosia deal.
Mozilla will be fine, but they’ll likely need to be leaner. Lay offs will likely play a part in that. Just got to hope they size and structure it right.
Also, you lose less stamina as you level up. Better tools and food make energy irrelevant. Early game, you start from scratch and it gets easier over time. You get sprinklers etc. No more watering.
It’s a farming game. Farming is a big part of it. Expecting not to farm in a farming game is a little misplaced as an expectation.
I love Rimworld and Stardew, but they’re different. Rimworld is a strategy game in which you strategically plan and the NPCs run their lives until you take control of them.
You can respect a game and not enjoy it. Games are art and taste is important. I hate first person shooters for example. Don’t force yourself if you don’t want to, but expectation and comparison are thief’s of joy. If you want to enjoy something, don’t expect, just play and let it guide you and choose which parts of the mechanics you enjoy interacting with more.
I’m in the UK also. I care about this though.
How can you infringe on a patent that doesn’t exist when you’re writing the code?hopefully Palworld can afford the lawyers to kill this off now.
And you think US government and 5 eyes countries won’t have access? What happens when that elaborate detailed profile data of yours gets hacked?
You are free to choose at any point where you draw the line.
Chromium fork. Chromium code, Google defining compatibility standards. Firefox (or it’s forks) is the only real alternative.
Best to just lead with the facts. “Due to having issues with x, y and z, I went to the doctor. After further investigation it has been confirmed as stage 2 xxxxxx cancer. I’m still trying to understand more about it.”
As another poster said, give them time to emotionally process this. They care about you so are naturally going to be affected and that is fine. Doing this in person is preferable.
Sorry to hear this.
Stage 2 means it is still localised, right? It may have been found in time and is treatable.
I don’t know about your uncles cancer or what stage it was but not all cancers are the same and some are very treatable. In one type of cancer, survival after 5 years is 99% for stage 1, 95% for stage 2, 50-6i% for stage 3 etc. Stage 2 can be a very winnable battle. Even stage 3 can be a worthwhile battle.
You may be avoiding a very winnable battle in which you can have a long and enjoyable life after some short term discomfort. Some cancers can he treated in a localised manner with radiotherapy rather than chemo.
I implore you to verify what the treatment options are and success rates before making a hasty and final decision.
A relative of mine came back from stage 2 doing pretty well and is pretty happy after a year of treatment. Some of it obviously a little challengeing, but they have no regrets.
Gosh. Bob Dylan is hard work even after eating and drinking. I guess folk like to prove they can handle suffering.
I tend to only follow Indie games. Have no interest in micro transactions, first person shooters, or watching rather than playing games. There is very little in the AAA sphere that interests me.
I just don’t see a good reason to use Manjaro and many reasons not to.
Not heard of the first one.
Which Star Wars game release was trash with horrific performance issues?
It’s a shame they didn’t consider moving the LF foundation to Europe or something. If the choice is kick out contributors to support sanctions or operate without political pressure, the second is far better.
I cannot stand Putin or Russia’s action, but punishing individual contributors just trying to write code and build Linux isn’t helpful.
Unless evidence is found of malicious commits, it is pretty harsh on those caught up with this.
Let’s remember that many Russians will probably be locked up and/or killed for coming out against Putin. Punishing them achieves nothing.
Well Debian doesn’t have a rolling distro, does it?
It was something that underpinned your choice and now it’s not. I’m not sure why you said gotta find when you already knew the answer.
