My personal rule, in broadest terms is that if I cancel someone, they are released upon death.
What warrants cancelling is pretty wishy washy, and I’m sure I’m hypocritical at times. But generally speaking, if the person is dead, I feel free to enjoy their body of work.
If the person is ruined, or in jail, it’s a grey area.
And if the person is continuing to work, with little to no repercussions. They’re banned.

Wow, these are some truly hideous watches. This has got to be a money laundering scheme or something. No one actually interested in watches would spend six figures on one of these.
Nobody is more precise than the ruling class in their calibrating how much exploitation they can exact from their beasts of burden (us). That’s their job, that’s where their money comes from. They exploit us.
It’s not gumption. It’s not novelty. It’s not intelligence. It’s cruelty.
If the revolution needs a baby sitter, then the revolution will probably just stay home instead.
Ironic that the party who wails and moans about DEI practices gets artificially propped up by the EC and would absolutely get demolished without studious gerrymandering.
Do not be fooled. The GOP is not running a failing campaign, it’s just that they are putting all their energy toward backdooring the whole democratic process itself. Their campaign is little more than a diversion for their coup.
It has become my opinion that Dems are patting themselves on the back and relishing in the failing, uninspiredl campaigning of Trumo lately. My thing is, if they aren’t putting their energy into debating, and campaigning, and generally trying to win the election traditionally, where is all this energy and money going? I bet good money that the campaign is not their number one priority at all, and they are instead putting everything they have into their impending coup. Bribes, deals, well positioned traitors, etc.
Ok, but we’re trapped on the boat with them. What have we done to deserve them?
I’m going to disagree with most of these comments. They don’t protect the prong so much as they protect the cord or other objects in the cords vicinity (painted surfaces, fragile surfaces, etc). The little plastic cap that covers tire stems on cars and bikes , while keeping it clean when installed, are primary to prevent chaffing issue on the inner tube whike shipped and stored; same thing with this prong shroud. They have holes in them as to not retain moisture I imagine.
Long story short, the prongs are metal and have corners. They are the strongest, “sharpest” thing in the box. The plastic isn’t protecting the prongs from us, it’s protecting us from the prongs.
Unfortunately, this seems to already be happening. The inferno they’re making is the United States.
Full text of the 1st amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Disapproving of what Musk says, or desiring for Musk to face consequences for what he says, is not in conflict with the 1st amendment.
Anybody holding foldable media is already a lost cause. We need 20 somethings to vote like their Zyns depend on it. If this is what political engagement looks like in 2024, then so be it.
Who’s secret? What did I miss?
It’s a race between junk food vs. an actual meal. Junk food is easy and self indulgent, real food requires time and effort. It doesn’t matter that junk food is a terrible value and lacks any nutrition. The Trump people choose junk, conservatives choose Trump people because the Trump people are mathematically mandatory to maintain their caste.
Correct, but thats the real reason for the back to office push. No one cares where you are, so long as someone has to pay for you to be there.
You put on your work clothes, which are basically the same as regular clothes but more expensive. You commute to work, you consume radio/podcast/whatever, you consume ads. You get into the lobby of your building and get a coffee from the stand that pays rent. You take the elevator to the rented offices you work at. You get exploited as much as is legally allowable for 4 hours. You go back downstairs and buy food from another rent payer. You go back upstairs and get exploited some more. You consume more advertising on the way home. You get home too tired and too late to disrupt anything that makes rich guys richer.
None of the real reasons are productivity related.
Commercial real estate isn’t worth nearly as much without people going to and from work everyday.
I’m concerned about this new strategy of keeping Trump under wraps. He is his own worst enemy, and now instead of hearing it straight from the horses mouth, they’re keeping him sheltered and filtered through only the most loyal media outlets. Leaving his mob to use their imagination, which will be exactly what they wish to see and hear. It’s shrewd in an idiotic way. I can only hope that Trunp will become impatient with being handled and show his true colors at least a few nore times.
