exactly! its not so much that the algo is skewed against us (although…), but mostly the content it has available to it and our lizard brains in general that arn’t helping. (or rather out desire to win the popularity contest and thus manipulate it in a way the algo is sensitive to). Because 90% of the ‘pretty girl’ videos wouldn’t have these stereotypical clickbait dames in them if it didn’t work in the first place
agree, I do have some other things in my feed, but I’d definitely say the algorithm has certain preferences.
Probably has to do with most of my interests being pretty nice compared to ‘ooh pretty girl’. So when it compares what I click on it’s easier to find high frequency recommendations based on other peoples likes. I know fuck all about the algo that makes feeds, but my guess is that’s how it works.
Can we please rebrand ‘X’ as ‘The website formerly known as twitter’?

I have a backpack with panda’s. It makes me look like a 2m tall kid, but they are really cute panda’s so I’m willing to make that sacrifice.
its funny how relatable your logic is even though your preferences are practically perfect opposites.
I wear sandals and shorts whenever I can, and ideally i switch to pants/shoes and back just once per year :') And I love to have my feet exposed (even within the house, I do have flipflops though)

Speaking of going to the gym… I did another dumdum yesterday. I biked to the gym in my gym clothes as I do when its good weather… but it wasn’t, it was raining, one of those that feels like a drizzel but within 5 minutes you are soaked.
So I worked out while soaked, full soak (now sweat) biked back trough the wind and raind, bought breakfast, biked home, waited an hour to shower… and now im sick :D Like I said, I’ll probably never learn -.-
Does it have anything to do with not having to deal with change? The amount of coverage/protection/insulation ect. being consistent rather than changing with how you feel like dressing that day?
I catch myself, while shopping clothes, always for the same cut of clothes for the same reason, even going as far as getting cranky if the material/thickness of fabric I am used to is not available for the print I’m liking. Maby an extreme example…
But all the people I know personally who stick to either shorts or long pants come high or hell water tend to have a lot of traits where they either appreciate consistency or… no mainly that now that I think of it.
I remember going for a walk with a friend midwinter, underestimating the distance, overestimating the temperature (i mean, it -was- snowing, but that meant nothing… right) So we went out in our tshirts and shorts.
In the end, my mum spent 2 hrs trying to turn 2 goth smurfs back into human boys. I’d say I learnt a lesson that day, but one must not tell lies.
yeah that’s where my head is at as well… I’m just not yet emotionally ready for that reality

I havn’t yet, might later today. But I’m convinced its a gpu thing at this point. Might have bashed the hdmi cable a little to hard in the port trying to install it or something dumb like that. Its the only thing that I can think off that slightly makes sense, as it was working perfectly 5 minutes before, and nothing else has happened (other than plugging in an HDD, and I already tried unplugging that)
You’re pretty much describing the process i went trough, with some altered details. Power outage fried my HDD, ended up replacing it. Suddenly monitor doesn’t work after reconnecting it. Tried the DP cable i had lying around, tried the 2nd HDMI port, both with the same HDMI cable and a different one. Tried a different monitor. (i don’t have a 2nd system I could hook my monitor to, but at this point I’m fairly sure it has to do with the HDMI port of the GPU which I simply don’t have the funds to replace… Might have a guy look at it, maby he knows something I don’t)

it has power. I can use the buttons to select the channel. The only place where my pc seems to recognise it is in the monitor selection screen of my gpu drivers… i cant select it there. Not sure if it recognises the monitor or if its just a ghost from having previously recognised it.
Edit: a different hdmi monitor or cable give the same result. “no Signal”

When I just wake up I need sustenance but my motor skills are as low as my brain fog is high. I -am- however functional enough to press the “make coffee button” and slap a spoon in a container of yogurt.
Yogurt and decaf* coffee are nice, but not enough to keep my 100+KG of pure overthinking going for long. Luckily, while sipping on my coffee I can knead dough, so by lunchtime I should have fresh bread. (or stale bread from the day before)** What goes on the bread has been decided mostly in my youth, has been altered when I moved on my own, and these days only gets tweaked… it works, why fuck with it.
Dinner has been planned over the weekend so when evening starts and my brain is all cooked out, but my motor skills are at its peak, cooking up some pasta/rice/potato dish with veggies should be easy. Anything more involved is for occasions where I have time to be invested in cooking. On weekends I cook bulk for the days where I don’t function, so my freezer is stuffed with all sort of 1 pan dishes.
Within these variables I eat fairly varied, but you really don’t want to be around when I am forced to change them on short notice. EG; when I forgot to get yoghurt, it might take me untill mid afternoon untill ive recovered ^^"
it took me about 15 years to work this system out, but by george I have finally mastered eating 3 meals a day.
*Don’t give me regular, apocalypses have been started over less.
**Im working on baguette dough so I can make it the day before so i can portion better and don’t have to knead in the morning)
