By Grabthar’s hammer!
By Grabthar’s hammer!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Dear Netflix, I’ve been a loyal customer since 2013. I’ve been perfectly happy with our arrangement. YOU are the one terminating our contract, not me. It seems you’d prefer to get rid of a happy, paying customer in the hopes you can somehow persuade them to embrace a higher cost or shittier experience (ads). That’s a bold move Cotton. Buh-bye dons pirate hat
YARR MATEYS
Not weird at all, just a different perspective they weren’t previously aware of. One group I know of that does this is people who follow stoicism. Memento mori!
This time for Africa!
FYI this appears to be the US Staples only. In Canada (or at least Ontario), Goodwill accepts electronics recycling, now that Staples has shut that down.
Is it considered a technological advancement to remove something which exists now and actively makes life worse? I’d like to remove “health insurance” as a concept
What makes a man a man?
I’m holding out for a new logo for HSRBC 😁
And yet I’m still inundated by advertising for each movie, making me keenly aware of the thing I don’t want constantly rammed down my throat. I’ve come to expect it at fast food restaurants, but I can’t even shop for groceries without Marvel trying to push something at me. I’m not actively watching Marvel movies, but they are still part of my life whether I want them there or not.
Aren’t I though?
Dogs and cats, living together! Mass heysteria!
But ser! Wizz theez Rocher, you arr spoiling us!
What about El Duderino, if you’re not into the whole brevity thing? 😁
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Hey, guys, do you pinkie promise to securely track users with no legal standards or requirements in place? This guy will have shocked Pikachu face in 3, 2, 1, …
There’s also a huge spectrum of consumption between porn addiction and adolescant curiosity. These studies seem to reference several consumption quantities which go beyond the scope of the original question.
That last part is driving me crazy with frustration. If I identify a health hazard in my life, I take reasonable precautions against it, but when the whole system is inundated with that same issue, its hard to feel like you’re aligned with “society”. Like you said, it’s literally in everything we eat, drink and do. I’ll continue to support the plastics industry as little as possible, but it still has a stranglehold on industry. I’ve heard some promising reports from India about new developments in more sustainable packaging, but nothing’s hit the mainstream yet.
It feels inevitable that our descendents will eventually say “holy shit, you stored your FOOD in it?!”, after we discover we’ve been literally killing ourselves the whole time
Personally, I’ll take that deal just to avoid the direct rogers/bell customer service experience, but my god we need more options.
