Look into smarttubenext for Chromecast then. It takes like 30 seconds to install. It’s similar to new pipe. I believe it can even link with new pipe to download videos for offline use.
It’s the entire reason I bought a Chromecast over a Roku or fire TV.
I’m ok with this. Not excited to have Chris Pratt voice a Jak and Daxter character but it’ll bring attention to the IP which might give us a new game.

PS4 - 500gbs
PS3 - 320gbs
Xbox Series S - 512gbs + 1tb external HDD
None of them except for the PS3 have enough space. Especially my laptop and the series s. I only have one game saved to my PS3 so it doesn’t need any more space but everything else could benefit from doubling or even tripling the storage space. Files are getting pretty big these days. Especially games. Black Ops 3 came out a long time ago and it’s over 100gbs.
Every thinkpad released in the last 5 years has had screens with 100% adobe rgb color accuracy. They’re almost all at least brighter than 300 nits. Some brighter than 400. They’re objectively incredible screens. 1366x768 hasn’t been the standard in a long time. 1440p has been an option for a long time too. As far back as the t460 or the first gen x1 carbon like 10 years ago. The last ThinkPad I can see where 1366x768 was even an option was the t490 in 2017. After that they moved onto 16:10 screens and made 1920x1200 the minimum. Hell even 1800p OLED screens have been available in some models for 7 years. The t570 and p50 both have 4k screens and they’ve been available for about 7 years as well.
Lenovo keeps doing this. I’m still upset we didn’t get the y700.

You have to consider the 10 years that it took for 2019-2022 to happen.
What I really want to know is what you guys use for getting torrents for entire seasons of shows, or even the entire show at once. I’m not new to piracy, I’m just new to talking about it with people.
It’s a bit of self referencial humor. Like 15 years ago zuck did a live stream or something. On that Livestream he kept awkwardly talking about how much he loves sweet baby Ray’s bbq sauce.
I think he did that because knows how detached he comes off as. He was a weirdo before he became a billionaire, and being a part of a separated class of society only made that worse. He also knows how everyone on earth thinks that he’s a distrustful person. Plus he’s just clearly not comfortable being on camera.
It was basically a failed attempt to come off as relatable and down to earth by sharing something that he has a passion for. Which apparently is grilling. I get it, I like grilling too. But I won’t ever be tasked with trying to use that one interest I have as my entire public personality.
He tried something like that before. The reason he wears plain looking tshirts and pants is because it makes him come off as “like one of us” and that he remembers that he came from nothing like the rest of us. But then a few years ago it came out that the black Tshirts he wears costs like $400 each and so does the rest of his outfit.
I mean this post has 1200 upvotes. Considering most people don’t engage with the voting system that makes me think that there’s a decent amount of people here. At the very least it means there’s a lot of people here who engage with the community. More come every day. If this post were on Reddit, it would be on r/all right now. I think that in 10 years this place will be doing alright. I think the growth that’s happened in the last few months won’t last, but I think that growth will still steadily happen. The reddexodus doesn’t happen every day but with most social media platforms shitting their geriatric pants more and more lately, I think a consistent flow of refugees will come here.
Kind of. An LCD display has one backlight which illuminates the entire screen with one brightness. So a black screen and a white screen will use the same amount of electricity if both screens are set to the same brightness, even though to us a white screen looks brighter. Using a dark theme won’t save any electricity, but it won’t use any more either.
Other display types use self illuminating pixels. Like OLEDs and plasma screens. So a screen which is mostly black uses a lot less electricity than a screen which is mostly any other color but black. Using a dark theme would use substantially less electricity.
Even a CRT would use less electricity if you switch to dark theme while still using one, because the cathode ray wouldn’t have to light up the black pixels.
Don’t be so hard on yourself guy. You’re way better than Vista and 8.0
