I like my Framework 16’s solution: 6 hot-swappable expansion ports. Only want one USB-C? Get one and 3d print fillers for the other 5 slots or use the expandable memory because why not (other than $). Want an SD or MicroSD? You can get that too, along with 3.5mm, hdmi, USB-A, ethernet, or display ports. Everyone can configure it exactly how they want.

I know what they are! They’re useless things McDonalds tries to goad you into installing with promises of a free $3 burger so they can sell all your data to everyone who wants it because apps have a higher level of access to it than m.mcdonalds.zip or whatever their shitty website is.

Btw I’ve never been charged to look at a phone and I have two pixels, assuming their claim is accurate either the other poster was being scammed or they were buying it online and the online store wanted a deposit to prevent theft or cover damages before shipping it so they could “see it” (which isn’t something I’ve ever heard of but I suppose it is possible.) Honestly, I must respectfully disagree. Personally, I still respect someone even if I want to have sex with them (or enjoy seeing them topless, as it were), in fact if we started getting to know eachother and found out I did not respect them, I would no longer find them attractive.

I further disagree in that I think simply looking at someone and being attracted isn’t (or at least isn’t necessarily,) objectification. I think there has to be a whole lot more at play than just “oh this girl looked at my abs while my shirt was off in public, she’s objectifying me.” Even if she said “oh look at that guy’s abs” to a friend, I don’t think it’s crossed a line. Attraction isn’t necessarily a problem, what’s a problem is not taking no for an answer. Even if the first thought is sexual, so? Sex is natural, attraction is natural, it is what it is, just don’t harass people.
