I think the best way to decide is to fire up a bunch of VMs and install a distro on each. Going through the installation process for arch is a great way to start learning more about the OS IMO so if you’re interested in that then that’s a very beneficial thing to do anyway. I use Debian on my laptop and dual boot arch and Debian on my desktop. I’ve only ever used fedora for servers so I can’t comment on how it serves as a daily driver.
