Not sure if most folks realize how accessible the spots are where a lot of these famous photos are taken from.

    I see there is a railing in the pic. When I visited less than a decade ago there was no safety rail, and nobody there to stop you from being an idiot. Plenty of people seemed to be taking advantage of this at the time.

      Yeah, I see railings at these kinds of spots as a very good thing. They let you get right to the edge for that perfect shot, and no one is the wiser for how little risk it took.

    i visited arizona in 2014. was probably one of the most beautiful yet desolate places i’ve ever been to

    this is where the video was taken of two women, above whom had formed a small electric storm disturbance causing their hair to stand on end.
