The person I was responding to said your either pro Hamas or your a nazi.

      That’s a false dichotomy.

Stating that will only appease hardliners, not sway the opposition and push away anyone who isn’t firmly in either camp.

Your response to me conflates the pro hamas / pro Palestine issue.

There are many anti apartheid people who are against hamas. Fatah as one example

Let’s be real here, Hamas is the only meaningful resistance against Israeli apartheid regime today. Pointing out that there are some fringe groups out there isn’t really an argument. People who claim to be on the fence and who aren’t firmly supporting the right of the occupied people to resist a genocidal regime are implicitly supporting a genocide.

Fatah is not a fringe group. They represent 3 million Palestinians

Saying your with us or against us is going to alieniate people, it’s not the recruitment tool you think it is. It’s a threat, but online it’s a empty threat. It works great when the local toughs say it, they will beat you up, burn your house down, or rob you at night… It’s what bullies say when they don’t have good arguments

Vast majority of the world supports Palestine and Hamas against Israel, and what terminally online westies really doesn’t matter in the slightest. Israel is committing genocide, and vast majority of people in the world has taken a stand against this. If you feel alienated by that then that’s a you problem.

Your logic is invalid. Your presupposing the vast majority of the world, believes in Hamas, you’re saying 3.5 billion people or more, believes in hamas’s cause. I don’t believe that’s the case, I would hazard a guess to say most people in the world don’t care either way.

Even the majority of people in Palestine don’t support Hamas, the majority support fatah…

You’re assuming people’s motivations. Which is very dangerous to do.

I would say by default most people are in favor of freedom, and if it doesn’t cost them anything they would support people being free. Most people don’t support violence, not because they’re against violence, but they’d rather things just remain stable day by day

Once again, Hamas is the only meaningful resistance against the genocidal Israeli regime backed by the west. Vast majority of the world supports the right of Palestinians for self determination including violent resistance against the occupiers. Most countries in the Global South have also themselves been victims of western colonialism. You can keep on believing whatever you like of course.

Ah ok, let’s take your last comment piece by piece.

                  1. Hamas is the only meaningful resistance against genocidal Israeli regieme

                  2. Vast majority of the world supports Palestine right to self determination

                  3. Vast majority of the world supports Palestine use of violent resistance

I would agree that most people agree with 2&3. But it’s a huge leap to say most of the world including the global south supports 1, especially since Hamas is advocating for a Jewish holocaust.

They may even be sympathetic to the current events, but saying the world believes in a genocide is a huge stretch.

In fact, your hurting the people who want to help the Palestine people, and end apartheid - by conflating Hamas and supporting Palestine you make it MORE difficult to bring support to Palestine. You provide rhetoric that is used against you, ‘they just hate a religion other than themselves’.

You can keep repeating that like a broken record, but I’ll point out once again that Hamas is the only meaningful resistance to the actual genocide that Israel is conducting. In fact, Hamas would not exist if it was not for the actions of Israel. Has Israel chosen to implement the two state solution as was proposed by UN when Israel was formed or to create a single state where both Jews and Palestinians had equal rights then there wouldn’t be an organization such as Hamas.

The reason Hamas exists is precisely because Israel has been brutalizing Palestinians for many decades committing mass murder of civilians, and displacing people from their land. So maybe stop crying your crocodile tears because you are very transparent.
