Their consistent use of the term “illegal immigrant” with regards to Kilmar Abrego Garcia makes me not believe anything they say anymore. He entered illegally but was since given a protected status and was living and working here legally for years. So my takeaway is: you can’t trust that ICE agents are ICE agents.

Clarification: I’m not saying that’s a good idea, or that anyone should shoot at someone who says they’re a federal agent. I’m hilighting the fact that that’s the chain of logic people will start to use, if an “ICE agent” might be either an ICE agent or a Proud Boy/3%er/etc.

It’s not him. While there is a passing resemblance, the militia chud was apparently posting videos of himself in Oklahoma when the incident in Massachusetts occurred.
That doesn’t mean the ICE agent isn’t also a militia member. I would put money on him being at least affiliated with one.
Seems like they could tell us who he IS and clear all this up. I suppose we could read his arrest record as this is clearly excessive force (among other things), but that would imply the administration admitting its errors (and who really things THAT will happen)?
