If it translates to massively less Tesla sales, then it means something. Tesla’s valuation is so stupidly high because of musk. The big financial institutions are betting on him because they’ve done very well by him in the past. If tesla crashes and burns hard enough, his toxicity will spread to all his other ventures as well and his bullshit smart guy persona will be left in the dust.

FWIW, approval ratings don’t matter for elected officials either. They have some meaning for a couple of months leading up to an election, sometimes.

Oh, but they do. He knows he has always been a remarkably unlikable person, and his need for acceptance and respect drove him to obsessively hoard money. Now that he’s the richest man in the world (well, maybe not so much, any more), surely everybody loves him, right?

Now he’s finding out that even with all the money in the world, everybody STILL hates him, even more than ever. He has become aware that people actually despise him, and are actively working to make him fail. He has no spouse or partner, he’s had to buy his DNA Storage Units/ Human Shields by renting wombs, and the closest thing to a friend is a treasonous criminal, who despises everybody, including his own family. Without money in the equation, he has to get by on his looks, personality, and sense of humor. IOW, he’s screwed as a human.

I love that he is deeply, deeply unhappy and lonely. All those Nazi Fucks deserve their misery.
