It’s because someone complains about how this community is U.S.-centric every week. It gets exhausting to see constantly. Everyone’s aware that it is catering to American biases. For what it’s worth, I think c/worldnews should not exist and should be c/news and then there should be a c/usnews (and a c/uspolitics for that matter) as those official communities, but it’s not under my control.
