i was in your shoes last year; but it was the only job for me and it changed my life forever. i’m glad i got a long off ramp and it sounds like you still have income so i hope it’s not all bad.

I’m technically unemployed as of right now, funnily enough, and I credit getting sober with my ability to take a good long break from being broken.
I know it’s hard in the moment when you just want to forget about your life but think of the money each time you wake up in the morning with nothing to show for it but a hangover.
Every dollar you spend is that much more time you need to spend at work.
I am glad to hear that you’re doing what you want with your body. I’m going to do the same.

Update: I still have this fucking job. I’ll start looking for another job to replace it in a few months when I’m in a better place.
