I would think that USSS would need to be driving that truck in order to fulfill their responsibility to protect a former president. But does this mean that Trump is able to pull whatever campaign stunts he wants and receive government subsidized Secret Service protection for all of it, or does he have to reimburse for security at some point?

He does however, know how to drive a golf cart.
As many New Yorkers will remember, he always rode around in a stretch limo. He wouldn’t be dead riding in a cab.

They let Jerry Seinfeld drive Obama around the White House while he was in office. Wouldn’t let them exit to the public road though.
