I love when politicians make tech decisions, forcing a company to sell my preference instead of simply buying a product that already has what I want

Yes, a ~3 trillion dollar company milking users by not including a charger, making them purchase a proprietary cable and a bag full of dongles when a more capable open standard is ubiquitous, is good actually.

The fact is, people need phones and many are buying from Apple. The legislation gives some very minimal protection to non omega nerds so they get ripped off slightly less.

But I’m sure your elders are all very interested in learning the technical differences between the 100 phones on the market in their final days. You should give a weekly Keynote on Lightning cables at their church meetings.

Sure wish the phone was $12 more and came with the $12 charger I probably already have several of

making them purchase a proprietary cable and a bag full of dongles

Really hate when apple comes to my house sticks a gun in my face and forces me to buy their phone and accessories, they never wipe their feet

people need phones and many are buying from Apple

And you hate that, because you wouldn’t choose that phone and that means they shouldn’t either!

You should give a weekly Keynote on Lightning cables at their church meetings.

The lightning cable has been around for 9 years, they’re used to it. Who’s going to teach them about the new cable the EU forced on them?
