I think that’s precisely why Lenin is so feared in the west. He lucidly explains why reformism cannot produce substantive change, and he explains how to organize effectively.
Yes. It’s also, I think, part of why they gloss over him in favor of villianizing those who came after such as Stalin and Mao. They begrudgingly give Lenin respect, but are very short about it and I rarely see anything demonizing him.
I’ve noticed that as well. They’d rather just not talk about Lenin at all.
