It is incredibly common for political comments to exaggerate stuff as a form of humor. It happens on both sides. This comment section doesn’t seem to know that

That would imply that the artist is willing to fun of some part of his ideology. But a lot of his other comics can be boiled down to the usual “I, the conservative chad, destroy the screaming nonsensifal leftist”.

They do have a sort of “so bad its good” vibe to them that I doubt is intentional. Like the biden sucking the blackness out of a girl one or him getting 3 women pregnant Kenshiro style. Or in a meta level, making a “gas prices are good but everything else sucks now and its the left’s fault” comic almost immediately after making a “everything sucks now because gas prices are too high and its the left’s fault” comic

I think there’s some point in exaggerating things where it changes the meaning of exaggeration. At first this cartoon seemed to me like a satire of conservatives, mocking their exaggeration by exaggerating it even more. Imo the problem with this being “right wing humor” is not that right winger actively believe what it depicts, but rather that they do not perceive how it’s so enormously stupid that it even ridicules right wing ideas. (Because here, you’re like “hey, leftist harassing their child like right wingers do is so absurd and implausible, haha”). Of course they could be very self-aware to the point that they could laugh at their own ideas, but i sincerely doubt there are much people able to do that in any political spectrum.

You do realize this comic then violates “thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor” tho…right?

Yes, but one side makes jokes on them, cause there believe in a obviously misanthropic view of live, that will harm themselves, and cause there believe in a imaginary friend, who says them they should prefer an really old book full of contradictions instead of science, and …

The other side is far away from perfect and not always right, but this is not on the same level.

      Both side aren’t the same.
