Often difficult to do when the Israeli government intentionally conflates Jews with Israel. Thatās on top of making Scientology looks like childās play when it comes to handling dissent.
That conflation is Israelās entire strategy. Any criticism of the Israeli government is shot down as antisemitism. This effectively prevents anyone except for Jews and actual antisemites from criticizing them.
Israel is Jewish. But Jewish isnāt Israel. Seems easy enough.
To be fair, Germany wasnāt the only one to learn the wrong lesson from that episode. Israel and vast swaths of the western world did as well. Not sure what itās going to take for them to learn the right lesson if ever. But it will sadly be horrific again. Iām sure. Already is really.
