From top to bottom, the national GOP organization could soon be rid of anyone seen as insufficiently MAGA.
First came the internal grumbling about Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee.
Then came McDanielās decision to step down from her post at the end of February as she lost the support of Donald Trump.
After that came Trumpās move to put forward a slate of loyalists to take over the partyās top spotsāincluding an election-denying state party chair, a Trump campaign senior adviser, and the former presidentās own daughter-in-law.
Next could come the purge.
āI think within 30 days youāll see a purge of staffers from the RNC, because itās a hotbed for anti-Trumpism,ā Steve Bannon, Trumpās former chief strategist and host of the War Room podcast told The Daily Beast. āThatās the open secret.ā
Skeptical holdouts within the RNC have gotten the message: Their days are numbered.
So you read the article and disagree that the removal of people insufficiently loyal to Trump in the RNC is going to happen (as already happened with the leadership)?
What? How did you possibly draw that conclusion from what I said
EDIT: because you canāt read Steve! You absolute FOOL
Iām just curious why you think a purge of non-loyalists from the ranks of the RNC is far fetched when thatās what just happened to RNC leadership?
Totally misunderstood this article Jesus Christ my bad dude
Just want to say I really respect that youāve owned up to this throughout the thread. Being able to criticize yourself and admit to mistakes is absolutely critical in these discussions.
